Work & Learn/Ready to Work

RTW and W&L offer work opportunities both on and off campus through a work-study program. Participants gain work experience while earning extra income that will not reduce their K-TAP checks. The placement of work-study students in their fields of study with both private and non-profit employers helps prepare them for the workplace and often leads to full-time employment.

KEDC

KEDC provides support and adds value to our member districts through a united spirit of cooperation and innovation. With 67 member districts statewide and over 50 years of service KEDC is Kentucky’s oldest and largest educational cooperative. KEDC exists to provide educational support services for its members. Types of services provided: technology wiring, full collective bidding services, special education support, professional development opportunities for all school employees, adult education services, leadership development, and more.

Greenup County Public Libraries

The Greenup County Public Library System is the best value for your money during these hard economic times. Read the latest best sellers in large print, regular print, or audio CD’s. You can also check out movies or place a hold for a book on our website or call one of the library locations to place a hold. A call to the patron will be placed to inform them of the arrived hold. Each location in the system, except for the bookmobile, has public access computers. You must have your library card with you to be able to check items out or to use the computers. Wi-Fi (wireless internet) is also available. Anyone needing internet service can stop by the library. These services are all FREE!!

The libraries also have a notary, color copier and faxing services. These are offered for a small fee. If you have any questions about these services please contact your local library.
There are community meeting rooms available by reservation at all locations for clubs and organizations.
